 Responsible for nightly one-person server (Windows/RHEL) support for overseas locations. Support included troubleshooting issues with servers, websites and portals. Established the nightshift and communication guide lines with sites. Assisted in establishment of communications between sites and local office by the creation of a nightly operation status email. Assisted in the improvement of communication between night and day shifts with a log creation that referenced changes and other important events completed during shifts.  Performed nightly checks on servers, web sites and portals. Nightly support consisted of repairing server’s issues and the reporting of issues to management on priority tickets. Support included the creation of JIRA and Service Plus incident tickets; the working with and the monitoring of other agency’s departments for the repairs of overnight issues. Responsible for monitoring and repairing issues with both Windows/Linux operating systems and ArcGIS server’s software packages. Worked with both ICINGA and ArcGIS Monitoring tools.  Installed and configured ArcGIS Monitoring software to monitor issues with databases, ArcGIS server software, and ArcGIS Portal. Installed software on both Windows and Red Hat Linux hosts.  Engineered and implemented the HP Web JetAdmin program for centralized administration of printers. Program was used to update printers’ firmware, assist in tracking issues with printers, and send email notifications to desktop team of low printer’s toner. Responsible of assignment of Remedy and Service+ tickets to other technicians. Was given a Remedy ticket queue of over 600 unassigned tickets. Reduced the queue to 50 tickets within a month by assignment of tickets to the correct ticket queues; and the working assigned tickets to completion. Responsible for creation of security groups, assignment of security group ownership, and creation of secure folder shares. Responsible for the granting of access to secured folders and files.

 Responsible for providing enterprise services including file and print services, remote resolution, server administration, and updating security vulnerabilities across multiple networks. Responsible for creation of DNS records. Responsible for the patching of Windows and Linux Servers. Engineered and implemented the mandatory pin to print solution. Solution was to meet STIG requirement of HCS documents to be stored securely in printer’s storage instead of left printed on device which could cause authorized disclosure. Implementation was completed on other agency’s domains due to the proven cost saving of implementation of pin to print. Performed desktop support for National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to include both hardware and software support of desktops/printers.
