- As a platform support analyst it was my job to monitor transmissions and jobs running on ATPCO’s mainframe and server system to allow for ATPCO’s clients to receive support and files relating to their day to day operations swiftly and on time. - Whilst working this role I have spend significant time working with internal and external providers, teams and contractors to resolve issues and maintain a constant 24/7 bulletproof operation. - Whilst working in this role I found that my skills within SQL, Java, Unix and mainframe operations were tested regularly in completion of work. - I also found whilst working at ATPCO when remote working that online communication was essential and this is very much a separate skill to that of in person communication as such I feel that I’ve successfully mastered the ability to work remotely whilst dealing with systems through RDP and using VPN connections.

Worked on Rock Gym Pro cloud Migration for the Nottingham Climbing Centre overall this moved all their IT Infrastructure online removing the liability on an in house server system. - Moved POS, Calendar, Booking and other Database systems into AWS cloud with the help of the RockGym pro Cloud migration team.- Staged Deployments of the product over a period to adapt it to the businesses needs as well as to make sure that the functions within the RGP Cloud application were applicable to the businesses needs and future posture. - Delt with monthly stand-up and management of internal staff on deployments training and how to utilise the new RockGym Pro software and get the most out of it.- Helped to configure Stripe integration as well as other aspects of payment and accounts management integration.

I found this physically hard work, but immensely rewarding and it has provided me with a valuable insight into another type of business.

I also was trained on the SQL based system that the climbing centre installed called RockGym Pro. I utilised RockGym Pro to check customers in as well as use the POS system. Whilst using the POS I also was responsible for the taking of card and cash payments, as well as consulting the customer on what lessons they may need and any experiences the climbing centre was offering at that time.
