MORE MAGAZINES was started after my attempt to collect an old vintage magazine because of an article that was in it. I wasn't able to purchase the magazine itself, but I did find someone selling the whole year. (1944, Reader's Digest). So, I offered the other months individually for sale, but only after reading each one, and listing the COMPLETE contents of all 11. They all sold. I realized that there was a market for this service. In the last few years I have read and indexed THOUSANDS of magazines. EVERY ONE of the magazines I list for sale is listed with all the contents. MOST of them are bought because something in the content. What I do is as much research service as retail of vintage magazines. I made some effort to have multiple types and genres of magazines available as well, so that the store I have created (on eBay) has a good general selection. Many of my customers buy magazines as birthday or Anniversary gifts as well. I've had relatives of the famous, the famous themselves, TV and Film prop masters (You would recognize the shows), and many others as satisfied customers. This research, the depth of my collection, and my basic coding skills have made it possible for me to have this research available online, while still protecting the content of my painstaking work.
