Operated in the Helmand Provence of Afghanistan. Primary mission was the deactivation and closing of military Patrol Bases and Forward Observations Bases, and securing and transporting all associated operational equipment back to primary logistic support facilities. Follow-on supporting tasks included Retrograde or Re-deployment operations of equipment in support of Reset and Reconstitution of units both in combat areas of operations as well as stateside installations. Created a Small Engines Repair Shop to ensure all motorized equipment was kept fully operational at all times. Equipment included water & fuel pumps, mobilized pressure-washer pumps and engines, water/fuel storage bladders and tanks, John Deer Trams, MMV and 5k forklifts.Developed the unit SOP that streamlined and simplified the process for requesting replacements to operate the newly formed shop. This shop and corresponding SOP are still in use.

Preform daily data maintenance on SRC documents to provide to the SRC chief and Officer in Command. Perform daily updates as well as creation of new personnel documents for U.S. Army units. Update every soldiers DARTS system information and government DD Form documents. Preforms accountability of Soldiers seen by daily, monthly, and annual charts to be provided to the SRC Chief and Officer in Command. Final Validation Specialist will also act as the final liaison of the SRC assisting and advising soldiers on corrections that may need to be made. Verify that each soldier has completed each section of the SRC function. Verify accuracy of DD form 93, 7425; 8286 SGLV and SGLI’s ensuring all are in soldier’s packet for Unit S-1 administrations office.
