My role focused primarily on Ruder Finn's Insights & Analytics offering, BEACON, amongst core business tasks. BEACON is the research wing at RFI Asia, specialising in combining IRL (In Real Life) data such as marketing expenditure, sales and even weather patterns, with social listening streams and other external datasets. Working in the BEACON team as a research analyst, I am able to sift through noise and derive key insights into consumer and professional behaviour, to offer deeper and more reliable insights to clients.Particular projects I have had the opportunity to work on that I am proud of include conducting proprietary research and analysis for the Ruder Finn Social CEO report that was published in January 2018. The Social CEO report was an in-depth study into how leading CEOs of American firms use social media and the relationship that has to their firm’s performance; using sophisticated econometric modelling, combined with Ruder Finn's executive suite expertise.RFI Asia is the digital arm of Ruder Finn. We are a team of digital marketing consultants that creates effective marketing campaigns for clients across different sectors including Consumer, Lifestyle, Technology and Healthcare. Updated forecasts for the centre’s ‘Claim of the Future’ project, looking at trends in UK car insurance claims. Also produced original forecasts for Windshield Claims.Combined external data sets spanning claim value and volume, ran regression analysis and delivered detailed results using Microsoft Excel. Provided plans on how to use Time Series analysis for more comprehensive results.
