The primary role of a Core-CX Tester is to essentially be an expert of a Title while also finding & entering detailed but concise bugs to a consistently high standard and perform at a rate that is significantly above average in either the Customer Service or Quality Assurance disciplines.Core-CX Testers act as the bridge between QA and 2K Customers, escalating information to CS through Customer Service Agents, Specialists, and Supervisors while QA through Testers, Associate Leads, Functional QA Leads/or Live Service Leads when appropriate.

The primary goal of a QA Tester is to be able to accurately execute functional testing, while finding and entering detailed bugs along the way. This also includes regressing fixed bugs in the database, while performing consistently to high standard.QA Testers focus on building knowledge about a game, with assistance from Senior Testers, CX-Core Testers, Associate Leads and above.A QA Tester strives to work collaboratively in a team, and to be able to test a title effectively over the course of the titles development and release.

Customer Service/Sales associates aim at providing efficient and friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance. Over time, these associates become experts on vast amounts of products through communication with other departments thus allowing them to provide quality assistance to Customers.
