I was responsible for assisting the Sales & Communications Manager with all areas of print, on-line and other publicity relating to the Lincoln Drill Hall programme of activities and the venue itself.• Proofing & writing show copy, brochure entries and other promotional literature• The creation, maintenance and development of our on-line marketing resources, with an emphasis on social media activity.• Assisting with writing and distributing weekly press releases and other releases as required.• Compiling theatre listings for media.• Assisting with preparing e-newsletters, flyers and direct mail.• Ensuring that venue in house and exterior promotional displays are managed and updated regularly.• Assisting with the preparation and distribution of press and publicity communications.• Assisting in the preparation and distribution of targeted promotional mailings.• Liaising with visiting companies/artists/agents to secure online and printed publicity material.• Assisting in the coordination of the distribution of promotional materials across the established city and county networks.• Management of the exit flyering programme.
