My role includes; Global joint GTM with major cloud providers (Google, AWS, Azure) Next gen alliances in user product integration, user privacy, mobility communications, BigData, ML, IOTStrategic inbound M&A & small team acquihireSourcing and catching complex & non-traditional deals that fall outside of our traditional sales pipeline Joint marketing and PR with giant (and not so giant) partners I work with partners and customers spanning the globe as a bridge between Fastly product, engineering, legal and sales. I've set up partnerships and joint GTM on almost every continent. To my dear SDR friends: I have zero influence on any backoffice systems procurement or lead gen lists :)

Our team handles much of the partnership discussions for Fastly surrounding cloud, IaaS/PaaS, CMS, e-commerce, security and logging technology. We work with the major cloud providers and complimentary technology to ensure all of our features and capabilities integrate and support the entire stack from origin to eyeballs. Fastly is the world's only real-time content delivery network. At Fastly we think slow is unacceptable. I lead a team of six business development representatives, each responsible for 30 qualified leads per month, for a total of 200 very solid opportunities for strategic partnerships and direct enterprise sales. In this role I took ownership of a highly effective source of new business who doubled as the brand ambassadors and first contact many customers ever had with the brand and company. I also devised the strategy, found the partnerships, and managed key integrations with major cloud providers such as Red Hat OpenShift, Heroku, IBM Smartcloud, Joyent and more. I was often tasked with utilizing my 12 years of experience in infrastructure, ISP, advertising/marketing, and overall growth in creative ways to do whatever was necessary to help the organization scale from 25 people in one office to about 150 people in 3 offices around the world at the time I left to return back West.
