Chairman / Cto
Metallurgist/Inventor
•1985 Developed generation 2, a highly stable and repeatable version of generation-1. Gen-2 increased production throughput by 300%. •1989 developed a chemical pre-treatment method for the deposition of nickel boron on aluminum which has become an industry standard. •1994-1998 Developed generation-3. Prior to Gen-3, the nickel baths were operated as a batch process. Gen-3 is chemically replenished while in use which further increased productivity•1997 Developed a substantial thinner saw blade body for the lumber industry which is now the standard. The nodular topography and inherent low friction eliminated the heat buildup in the body of the saw blade allowing a 37% thinner blade body. Nickel boron is now mandated in several European Countries as a means of reducing lumber waste. •1999, introduced a commercial slitter blade design utilizing nickel boron to reduce heat and the buildup of resins on the blade from the paper which increased manufacturing by an average of 35%. The design is used today by 100% of the consumable paper industries that produce all soft paper goods ie paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, etc.•Post 9-11, started the development of an oil/grease free weapon coating to replace the wet lubrication that attracted and held sand particles which in turn caused major jamming issues during a battle in desert environments. •2002, first successful test firing of an oil-free M-16. Also tripled the life of the gun. •2003 Demonstrated the M-16 at Picatinny Arsenal. As a result, ARDEC funded the conversion of four M-240 SAW machine-guns. The M-249 is known to be a problematic weapon highly dependent on proper lubrication. Final test firing included 30,000 rounds without oil and no failures tagging us with the name Fail Zero which is still used today. •2006 started the development of a guided saw blade used by the lumber industry to steer circular saw blades along the grain of the rough cut lumber savings millions of board feet scrap.
Ceo/Founder
Designed and operated the first closed-loop water system in a production plating company. Several million gallons of water pass through the average plating company used to rinse chemicals from work in-between processing tanks of usually hazardous chemicals. The rinse water upon discharge carries heavy metals into the county water treatment plants often passing through. My design had zero water discharge. The EPA used my facility as a standard until regulations changed in 2005.
