I am a National Board Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania, with an interest and specialty in child and adolescent development.My therapeutic modalities include, but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Existential (as needed), and Person Centered Therapy. These counseling skills have been developed through 6 years of practice, supervision, and consultation. I have had the privilege to take part in advanced training in Autism spectrum related concerns and how they impact family dynamics. I have had extensive training to assist in the development of warm relationships between parents and struggling kids. I also have experience with counseling the elderly in life changes. I use an eclectic approach to counseling at Kids Count. I am currently in training for parent child interaction therapy (PCIT).I also travel to a local school to assist with outpatient counseling.I have specialized training to work with children.I currently have a caseload of approximately: 1/3 kids1/3 adults1/3 marriage, PCIT, and adolescents.Monday through Thursday: appointments approximately two-three weeks wait 8am- 5/7pm (depends on day)Services offered at this location:Counseling, med management, and systemic assistance for families needing a little more help: wraparound, family based counseling, blended case management.
