Investigated threats and provided personal protection to federal judges, witnesses and other members of the judicial system.Executed hundreds of federal arrest warrants by investigating, locating and apprehending federal fugitives. Trained and supervised junior deputies in fugitive investigations.Received the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation Investigator of the year Award in 2001.Selected and served as a member of the USMS Special Operations Group. The USMS highly selected national SWAT and special response team that deploys to various national emergencies. Received extensive tactical, protective and civil disturbance training. Led and directed all activities of the heavy machine gun platoon in support of Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 25th Marines Reserve Unit.Supervised and trained Marines in infantry tactics and the effective operation, employment and maintenance of the weapons.Participated in Operation Desert Storm and JTF-6 Counter Drug Operations at the Mexico/Arizona Border.Received numerous awards including the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
