As Director of Human Resources, I lead, facilitate and administer long-range employment and personnel planning for Lyons Township High School District 204. LTHS District 204 is a school district that serves approximately 4,100 students from 11 different communities in the western suburbs of the Chicagoland area. We employ approximately 600 full time staff members from five different workgroups, as well as seasonal and temporary employees working in our Adult Education and Summer Programs. My role includes: coordination with local/State/federal agencies to ensure compliance with applicable laws; resolution in consultation and collaboration with District legal counsel regarding employment and labor issues; Non-Discrimination and Title IX Coordinator; development and implementation of negotiated agreements and handbooks for five employee groups; conducting criminal background checks for all employees and discussing results with applicants; preparation and administration of budgets for Human Resources and staff training/recruitment.

I currently serve as the Treasurer of the Illinois Association of School Personnel Administrators (IASPA). IASPA is a 501(c) non-profit serving school administrators in Illinois. Prior to being elected as Treasurer, I served the organization as Communications Chair and Member-at-Large.In my role as Treasurer, I am responsible for preparation and administration of the Association's operating budget. In addition, I prepare all payment to vendors, reconcile all Association financial accounts, as well as prepare tax documents for IASPA.
