General Accountability:The Senior Software Licensing Specialist is the backbone of the Licensing Annuity business. The required key competences are the ability to provide operational support for the sales team and a strong knowledge of Microsoft volume licensing offerings.The SLS is responsible for the completion and submission of licensing agreements (EA, SCE, MPSA, EES, etc.) and is primarily focused on supporting reactive activities, operational tasks, and the support of new and existing base of customers.Specific Accountabilities:1 - Assist in the overall creation, review, and on-going maintenance of customer contracts, including: a. Responsible to pre-validate details prior to submission or activation.b. Establish a standard practice and set of rules to review and implement a customer contract accurately.c. Make recommendations for corrections or process improvement.d. Timely and accurate handling of contracts while ensuring integrity.e. Ensure executed contract files are maintained for compliance guidelines.2 - Provide operations support, including:a. Filling out and processing Microsoft forms such as contact change request, change of solution advisor, license transfer, etc.)b. Technical support and handling of internal tools systems (ie. explorer.ms, e-Agreements, Partner Self-Serve, VLSC, VLPC).c. Maintain a high level knowledge of programs, product offerings, policies and procedures to be the advisory/escalation point of contract for team members and supporting teams.d. Manage deliverables and reports on upcoming customer quarterly meetings, renewals and true-ups.e. Understanding the operational importance of transactions and correlate them to all eligible incentive models.
