Leading the commercial function responsible for pre and post contract commercial performance of Wood's global Digital Consulting business group (~$300m annual turnover). This business develops digital technologies and solutions and provides digital related services, primarily into the energy market, ranging from assisting customers in their creation of long term digital strategy for their assets through engineering digitised assets in FEED and detailed engineering, implementation via control and automation EPC scopes and to gathering, assessing and interpreting data from digitised assets optimise the performance of assets.

Responsible for pre and post contract commercial activities for Wood's global technology and products business and new technology and strategic partnership development. This business designs and supplies industrial fired heaters and proprietary furnaces and licenses proprietary process technologies including hydrogen manufacturing, delayed coking and energy from waste syngas methanation.

Responsible for leading and managing the preparation of all aspects of proposals including; technical, planning, financial, legal, commercial, compilation and submittal. Responsible for achieving the best possible technical and commercial offer, on time and to the bid budget in response to client's ITBs. Bids/ proposals led include:-- Projects for upstream oil & gas field development, NGL, unconventional gas, LNG, refinery turnaround and term of services support- Concept engineering, front end engineering and detailed engineering, procurement and construction phases- Reimbursable and lump sum contracts up to £70M in value and involved in a key capacity for larger bids up to £4Bn in value- Managing the input from multiple execution centres within Amec Foster Wheeler and managing, developing and negotiating relationships with joint venture partners.

Various commercial roles as part of being selected for an internal career development programme; Estimator, commercial manager in legal department and proposal engineer.

Lead equipment engineer on major EPC projects, managing teams of up to 42 engineers and managing equipment teams spread accross up to 4 execution centre locations.Package equipment engineer responsible for specifying, evaluating, selecting and engineering key equipment items including; cryogenic marine loading arms, marine access gangway, heavy and medium duty pumps, cryogenic hydraulic turbine, flare, well head packages, waste heat boiler economiser, fired heater modifications, truck loading systems, refrigeration packages, boil off gas compressor, gantry cranes.

Recruited into equipment engineer position as a graduate from university. Responsible for specifying and engineering a wide variety of equipment for oil & gas, refining, power and pharmaceutical capital projects. Also gained experience in project engineering, estimating, pharmaceutical plant validation and construction/ commissioning turnover on site.
