To support Australia’s COVID-19 response I served as the medical devices representative on the COVID-19 Industry Working Group and Health IndustryCoordination Group. We worked to ensure the supply of medical devices into Australia, including ensuring the ongoing supply of ventilators, vaccine disposables (such as syringes), and PPE. Our group also ensured the decimation of nationally coordinated health messaging and provided feedback from community members. I was responsible for representing the Industry in discussions with the Commonwealth regarding the COVID-19 response and coordinating the industry's response to the Pandemic.

Beyond the traditional duties of a Public Relations account manager I was Edelman's Government, Public Affairs and Advocacy expert. Further to this, I provided support the Minister and the office by developing and maintaining good relationships with other MPs, as well as staff and advisers from other ministerial offices and across the cluster.I also organise Ministerial regional visits and coordinate with a range of local stakeholders including community groups and government agencies. I worked within a tight-knit team in a high volume, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines. It was not a typical 9 am-5 pm job, but it was an incredibly rewarding one.
