Lead Systems Engineer
CurrentDevelops and oversees all aspects of a complex system to solve a problem, from the initial creation of the system to production and management through to the end product or solution. In charge of troubleshooting and communicating with all parties involved in implementing and using the system. Leads engineering technical assessments such as Systems Requirement Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) of a system to ensure requirements are fully understood and traceable, and fully monitor hardware and software development in order to allow stakeholders to quickly resolve issues as they occur until a system is operationally effective.This includes the analysis, evaluation of plans, and methods of approach in organizing means to achieve solutions to complex technical problems. Also plans, conducts, and technically directs projects and coordinates efforts of support personnel in the performance of assigned projects.Reviews literature, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Statements of Work (SOW) current practices and conducts investigations and tests of considerable complexity, and evaluates the results. Additionally responsible for the application of advanced systems methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems.
