The management of a large project required creative communication, financial and documentation systems to manage a team that included 13 subconsultants and a multitude of reviewing authorities. • I-290 Eisenhower Expressway Reconstruction—Mannheim Rd to Cicero Ave, Cook County, IL: Project Manager for Parsons Brinckerhoff on Phase I preliminary engineering and EIS for the $1.6 billion reconstruction and widening of 7-mile segment of extremely congested urban freeway. The project includes rail and transit facility reconstruction. • Legacy Parkway, Salt Lake, Utah: One of two section managers for delivery of the $240 million, 14-mile design-build freeway constructed on new alignment under a fast-track delivery process constrained by the start of the Winter Olympics. The time from beginning of design to start of construction was 6 months. -
