Responsible for the quotation, design and compliance of all pressure vessels and tanks for the Richard Alan Group. From atmospheric tanks (5+ specifications), through pressure vessels (PD:5500, EN13445, ASME VIII), to vacuum insulated vessels including cryogenic vessels. In various materials from Carbon steel, through stainless steels, duplex, to Nickel steels. Conforming to PE(S)R and PED regulations. We also conduct vessel and tank re-engineeering when design documents are misplaced, for valued customers.

After working for so long without a break, I decided to take a break and spend some time with my family. We became pregnant and I decided to stay until my new son was born. He is now a few months old and I am keen to get back to work.

Headhunted as Project Manager to initially manage a vessel manufacturing work. Consequently drafted over to rescue a failing $80m project, the first of its kind in Nigeria comprising of 2 off well head platforms. Coordinated in-country design, fabrication, package integration and commissioning. Established primary control of the project including change control, engineering control and accurate reporting on progress and man hours. Resulted in the project being completed with zero LTI and 2.5 million man hours. Mentored local staff and improved their engineering and project management knowledge. Further accomplishments as Project Manager were:• Responsible for the delivery of equipment packages and pressure vessels including 18 off code items on a $450m order (OFON) with the company acting as prime EPC contractor for 2 off complete well head platforms and bridges• Demonstrated advanced persuasive skills and knowledge to convince senior managers to allow Nigerian package engineers to visit the suppliers in Europe to expedite their packages • Resulted in increased staff morale / staff experience and proven development of local staff to the client • Successfully guided the company through an ASME recertification audit

Project Manager 2004 - 2010Swiftly promoted to Project Manager on projects ranging in value from £50,000 to £12m. Provided process packages to the Awoun Koula project with the company as contractor to operate the facility for Shell for 5 years. Provided 4 off complete packages to Kazakhstan on a project worth $10m. Produced water treatment, glycol packages, gas and air drier packages and air drier refurbishment for APW nuclear reactors.• Spearheaded the commissioning team in Libya for an AMAL project • Resolved various teething problems onsite during 12 weeks in the desert• Ensured contracted service and bespoke solutions were delivered on time and to budgetProject Engineer 2004 - 2004Project Engineer on the St Fergus off-gas compressor project, the first reciprocating compressor package completed at HGB and the first for the company to UK specifications and DEP.

Project Engineer instrumental in the development of various key projects including process topsides for an FPSO in Malaysia and the build of a prototype production skid for an American client. Oversaw the process vessel mechanical design and interfaced with the metering skid and glycol package. • Introduced Pro / Engineer which revolutionised the company’s package layout capability, enabled rapid prototype development and improved fabrication• Travelled extensively between Kuala Lumpur, Johor Baru and the UK

Project Engineer 2000 - 2002Took full ownership of the engineering department and financial control of sub-orders. Established good contacts with the client and vendors. Specified mechanical and instrumentation items for enquiry, reviewed enquiries and prepared purchase orders. Ensured clear channels of communication between departments. • Designed and engineered the Deep Jusepin fiscal metering system in Venezuela, the highest pressure fiscal metering system ever delivered at the time• Ensured all relevant departments worked to specifications and agreed designs• In charge of project engineering the first PED compliant skidded metering system for Skene ModuleStress Engineer 2000 - 2000Fully accountable for the stress engineering of the product line involving stressing piping systems and structural steel on commercial stressing software.Proposals Engineer 1999 - 2000Proposals Engineer responsible for specification, pricing and design of fiscal quality metering systems. Design Manager 1997 - 1999Design Manager who introduced the design package Pro / Engineer to the company and charged with the maintenance and support of package as well as training up members of staff. Resulted in improved efficiency and accuracy of products leaving the company. Conducted wind tunnel testing on super and subsonic missile systems for the MoD under the Official Secrets Act.
