Founder of the Transition Program at LiHigh School, and Senior Chair of the Transition Committee. Supported 31 students in developing skills relevant to personal finance, independent living, social understanding, and career development. Additional responsibilities included; instructing English Language Arts courses, physical education, and the coordination of job shadows, internships, and community service opportunities.

In this seasonal position, the Event Coordinator project-manages the annual Poultney Earth Fair. This position of leadership requires the Event Coordinator to organize, promote, and plan the event, handle the logistics, manage a budget, communicate with exhibitors, and delegate tasks to the steering committee. The Poultney Earth Fair is a town wide celebration of community, education, and environmentalism. In 2018, the town of Poultney invited local businesses, organizations, and everyday advocates for change to display their work, their philosophy, and to share any opportunities they have available. As Poultney’s annual Earth Fair begins its second decade, a speech contest is being added to the annual offering of educational booths to offer a new way to explore environmental challenges and solutions. There was an inaugural speech contest featuring local students from grades 5-12 and area colleges communicated their understanding of environmental challenges and social sustainability while competing to win cash prizes including $200 for the top speech in 3 different grade categories. There was also live music, free pizza, tie-dye shirt making, a scavenger hunt, and a plethora of interactive activities and various opportunities for people of all ages.

Spearheaded a series of projects to maximize efficiency, organize supplies, and improve overall cleanliness of the establishment. Gained extensive customer service and managerial experience.

Ran guest check-in, answered the phone, prepared letters, organized supplies in the office,moved furniture, tracked materials as they were moved in or out of storage, and decorated for events.
