While working in an enterprise environment: I support, maintain, and monitor network infrastructure, perform technical functions including: supporting, implementing and troubleshooting network infrastructure for both Corporate and remote hospitals. My position requires thorough technical knowledge maintaining a high level of service on production systems and anticipates future requirements, trends, and changes to assure current and future customer satisfaction. Troubleshooting of system problems utilizing management consoles and other troubleshooting tools. Maintain configurations for local and wide area networks. Responsible for maintaining graphical and text-based network documentation and standards development. Responsible for administration and updating monitoring and management systems. Available 24x7 on rotational on-call and for scheduled maintenance windows.Support and maintain LAN and WAN infrastructures to support voice and data communications systems.Support and maintain firewalls and information security standards including security policies and procedures.Maintain infrastructure documentation as it relates to system configuration, support, and processes.Support and maintain system security standards, system backup/redundancy procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company's disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.Proactively monitor, test, collect and analyze system performance statistical data to improve quality of network services.Ensure compatibility and interoperability of network infrastructures and architectures in support of all hospital and enterprise computing systems.Provide network management support for event identification, event correlation, event escalation and event recovery as related to network infrastructures.Diagnose and resolve complex configuration and troubleshooting issues within a multi-vendor network infrastructure.
