Edwin is a graphics designer and a photography enthusiast. He is also an Airbus A320 Pilot based in Singapore. Prior to that, Edwin was a Transport Pilot with the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) for 20 years, where he served in various operational and staff roles at both the SQN and HQ RSAF/Joint. He flew medical supplies and personnel as part of the SAF's Tsunami Relief Operations during the 2004 Asian Tsunami. He also served with CTF-151 as an Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) Air operations planner as part of counter-piracy operations in 2011. Trained Human Factors in Aviation Safety at USC Viterbi in 2008, he served as a staff officer in Air Force Inspectorate, and was integral in Safety education and Accident Prevention efforts in the RSAF.He graduated from the 4th Goh Keng Swee Command and Staff College (GKSCSC) Executive course in 2015 as a Distinguished Graduate, and is currently pursuing a Degree in Digital Media in Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).As a self-taught design and 3D modelling enthusiast, his notable accomplishments were the design of the RSAF's Air Combat Command Logo and the 2014 RSAF Black Knight livery. He also has his own style of aircraft illustrations, which were used in various media.
