Edwin Martinez is the Co-founder of Centro Sanar based in Port Ministries, a budding non for profit located in south west side of Chicago. As Lead, Edwin is developing and providing accessible high quality bilingual/bicultural mental health services that support families on southwest side Chicago communities.Before Centro Sanar, Edwin held positions in various community based organizations providing direct clinical services across the south west, west, and north west side of Chicago. In addition, in the past three years Edwin has provided leadership and supervision to teams with variety of experience and backgrounds. While in direct services positions, Edwin worked in different modalities and approaches. In addition, Edwin has provided group support to families impacted by traumatic loss for the past seven years. Edwin continues to support youth, adults, and families embodying strength based and relentless engagement approaches.
