As a sales apprentice, my main role was to assist account managers to pursue sales opportunities by identifying prospective clients through research and analyzing sales options. Key responsibilities:• Identify a product line and draft market segments with key industries/companies under each segment• Keeping abreast of changes in the industries to constantly assess viable marketplace opportunities• Collaborate with HOD marketing and design posters and marketing materials for upcoming product promotions

Worked as an intern in the Electrical maintenance division of the County Government of Nairobi. Key responsibilities included:• Installed overhead and underground cables for power distribution from step-down transformers to street poles• Repair, maintenance, and installation of LED lantern, LED floodlight, HPS 400W, 250W, and 150W street lights• Equipped select street lights with photo cells and timers• Regular repair works on vandalized and damaged cable infrastructure in the city

Interned in the electrical testing laboratory during my 4th year university break. Our primary role was to ensure manufactured and imported electrical appliances and accessories meet international and local safety standards. Key responsibilities included:• Prepare daily inventories of appliances received for testing• In reference to testing procedures stated in the standards, subject UUTs to extensive performance checks, and submit the results to the head of laboratory

Interned in the maintenance division during my 3rd year university break. Key responsibilities included:• Repair plant equipment, namely; Tetra Brik Aseptic (250, 500) and Tetra Classic Aseptic (150, 200) packaging machines• Conduct maintenance checks on key plant assets such as motors using test equipment, and record the results for reference with previous readings• Draft daily reports of work done and present the same to the technical supervisor for quality assurance checks
