Duties and Responsibilities:• Deliver the on-business targets in line with the company growth strategy.• Prepare bid documents by ensuring quality control.• Track and report on the actual number of wins/losses and reasons for them.• Collect and archive matter/case summaries and all related information for use in pitches/RFPs, bios, legal directory submissions, website, annual review, press releases, etc. • Stakeholder relationship management.• Manage all business development processes and procedures. • Perform other business development duties as instructed by the Partners/HOO.• Familiarize with the current market conditions and trends.• Generate, validate, and pursue new leads and referrals.• Maintain and further develop relationships with assigned accounts and prospects.• Maintain strong relationships with underwriters and service teams.• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of core product lines and serve as the insurance coverage expert to clients.• Effectively identify and communicate exposures and risk transfer solutions to clients & prospects.• Attend any internal/external pre-renewal or prep meetings with service teams.• Submit information to market(s); receive and review quotes; compose proposals as needed.• Demonstrate professional and tactful negotiation skills to achieve objectives.• Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of responsibility
