Bilingual Special Education & Social Studies Teacher Provide direct academic instruction with implementation of the New Jersey Department of Education Core Curriculum Content .Provide quality special education and intensive therapeutic services for adolescents challenged by behavior disorders and trauma.Provide students with reasonable accommodations and support including and not limited to schedule planning, advocating, social learning and mindfulness exercises.

Assigned a caseload of 15+ students in which I was responsible for teaching, writing compliant Individual Educational Plan’s (IEP), analyzing data in order to plan instruction, and ensure they were getting the resources needed in the general education setting by working with their general education teachers.Lead IEP meetings for the students on my caseload, served as an advocate, and ensure they made significant growth on district and state-wide assessments. Every student on my caseload has made at least 1.5 year of growth in math and reading on state-wide assessments and the maximum growth made was 2.5 years.
