I participate in committee discussions and participate in FYSA's statewide advocacy work. We raise awareness to problems and challenges that youth face while in foster care. I also educate the community on the types of resources FYSA has to offer youth with a foster care background.

Every other Saturday I met with students from white plains youth bureau. I made short lesson plans about certain events around the world that happened. We also talked to the students about school and what options they have after high school

I worked with kids who had disabilities, I helped them with daily habits. We helped them manage their emotions when they were having a bad day or if they were over stimulated. I also assisted with making sure the children took their meds !
