Company was purchased from Hawaii Restaurant Services in 1993. Hired to help establish a new sales route; within six months, sales were at $175,000/mo., then topped off at $5.2 mill. Supervised sales force of six, and increased market share by 60%.

Hired to establish a new sales program and to train sales force for equipment and supplies; later assigned to sales territory was worth less than $100,000/year; built this same territory to $1.3 million in annual sales in eight months.

Sold specialty food and equipment to wholesale and retail accounts such as hotels, restaurants, hospitals, schools and retail stores; increased sales to approx. $2,200,000 while employed there.

Responsible for care sales to commercial accounts and the general public; handled advertising, financing and insurance, service, periodic maintenance scheduling and sales. First in the State of Hawaii to achieve coveted Avis Sales Master Award.

Responsible for food prep, menus, cost and inventory, etc.; also served as Dining Room Manager, directing front of the house operations.

Wholesale specialty food distributor to hotels and restaurants in Northeastern US consisting of gourmet cheeses, meat, spices, etc. Responsible for credit and cost control, inventory, purchasing/distribution, operations, accounts receivables and payables.

Sold imported goods to wholesale distributors in Northeastern US; enjoyed handling large accounts and developing strong relationships with merchandisers.

Sold full line to hotels, restaurants, cafeterias, government bases, federal subsidized programs, hospitals, nursing homes, school, retail stores and convenience stores.

Sold food and wine to the food service industry and retail stores. Responsible for scheduling drivers and warehouse workers, routing, receiving and distributing goods.
