Edwin ThompsonBiographyEdwin Thompson was born November 20, 1968 in San Francisco California. Edwin, even in his younger years has always shown a love and talent for anything artistic. At the age of eight years old, he entered his first art "competition" at Whitfield Elementary School in Jackson Mississippi, winning 2nd place amongst 100 of his peers which had inspired him to continue in his passion for the arts throughout his entire educational experience in which he had the opportunity to sharpen his skills as a young developing artist. Edwin became even more interested in complex art mediums and disciplines such as creative writing, journalism, graphic arts, illustration, web design and computer animation to name a few. Shortly after graduating high school Edwin enlisted in the United States Navy for his first tour of duty in 1986. Continuing on his artistic path whilst serving his country, he enrolled at Platt College of Multimedia located in San Diego California studying computer animation and computer special effects during his second tour of duty during 2004. Edwin Thompson now resides in Canton Mississippi with his lovely fiancee Mildred and continues in his passion of various art forms to bring beauty into this existenceInterview with Edwin ThompsonWhat do your fans mean to you?I don't consider my readers as "fans" which invokes the word "fanatic", which they certainly are not. I consider the readers of my books as fellow readers. I too love reading from various authors but I'm certainly not fanatical about their works, I simply enjoy reading.What is the greatest joy of writing for you?My greatest joy is bringing forth the truth to create awareness and inspire, hoping that my writing will not only educate, but motivate and become a catalyst for change.
