System and network administration of thirty million dollars worth of equipment for NASA's "Mission to Earth" project. The project, EOSDIS, involves satellites transmitting environmental data about Earth to computers at several NASA bases. Worked closely with head NASA personnel and scientists. Set up and networked 80 high powered computers from scratch (SGIs, Suns, HP's: operating systems and software). In charge of two robot tape silos (380 terabytes storage capacity), tape stackers, and backups (Legato Networker).
