A three advisor financial advising team that manages over $200 million in assets and supports Waddell & Reed’s #1 Financial Planner for 2013.• Satisfied the need for a process to quantify and track advisor production and compensation by identifying key metrics and assigning ownership of transactions to advisors through the use of Microsoft Access to import several data feeds into a relational database. Developed a series of SQL queries that allow the end-user to view the relevant data and create meaningful reports in Excel.• Utilized Microsoft's BI suite to conduct analysis of advisor production each pay period and determine the basis for periodic bonus compensation and for succession planning within the firm.• Created reports and analyze client portfolios to identify sales opportunities. Prepare paperwork to facilitate the success of each sale.

A four member financial advising team that has an emphasis on creating complex, tax-sensitive financial plans for high-profile clientele in the Missoula region. • Overcame the discontinuation of the team’s contact relationship manager (CRM) by extracting the existing data and later designing, collecting, supplementing, and importing client data to the new CRM (SmartOffice by Ebix).• Identified the need for a centralized storage solution for sensitive client data and satisfied this need by using a Raspberry Pi computing board and data redundant external hard drives to create an energy efficient and secure file server. Secure data access from remote locations was established through the use of OpenVPN technology to implement a virtual private network.• Provided technical support to and received professional guidance from an established financial advising team.
