My role at JTC Academy focuses on improving the knowledge and capability of JTC staff to perform well in their individual roles. Due to the pandemic situation, the traditional training was difficult to organise, it was necessary to adapt to the situation. As such, the bulk of my role designing eLearning materials on different channels (Articulate, Powtoon etc.) and redesiging our traditional training to be effective for virtual training through Zoom, WebEx, MSTeams etc. This was done through collaboration with SMEs for more relevancy and impact where I project managed the project with the SMES working on the content.Other than the efforts in planning for learning and training, I was also in charge of doing the training analytics to help understand the impact of training, gather insights on learning trends/needs. The data processing and wrangling was done via excel, python and the data was visualise on Tableau for analysis. This helped the team focus our resources to develop training business policies and digitalisation. It has also helped us identify crucial topics and shortened our training sessions (from a full day to 3 hrs sessions) while making it more effective. This was good as the staff was facing time shortages to complete their work and spending a full day was not feasible.Another big part was the analysis illuminated the fact that accessibility to learning materials was also another key factor in improving learning experiences. With this insight, I was involved in the project to enhance the accessibility to materials and critical information via the Microsoft SharePoint where policies, relevant business articles, and recordings of sharing sessions (technical and policies) are accessible within less than 3 clicks from our SharePoint homepage.This accessibility was also designed in our learning and the LMS to ensure easy access for staff to do the eLearning. We found that with easier access, we saw an increase in self-initiated eLearning take up.

As an L&D specialist with CSC, I design, facilitate and manage training programmes and initiatives that help to build the skills, knowledge and capabilities of Public Service officers in the Public Finance domain (Finance and Procurement) to be more effective in a fast-paced and transformative environment. We run milestone programmes that aim to prepare and change the mindset of the officers to become more effective be ready to serve at the next level. I have also designed multiple digital contents for online JIT learning for the officers. Apart from training programmes and initiatives, we also provide consultancy services to help agencies to create innovative solutions to better their workforce and processes. These solutions include designing a PDF interactive guide to help officers identify areas for capability and career development, journey mapping to improve internal work processes and human-centered design methodology to understand the needs of their officers.

My role was to enhance the service standard of our frontline team members through various learning and development channels. These include classroom training, workshops, digital learning store visits etc. During my stint with Dairy Farm, the company saw a 300% increase in the number of EXSA awardees across the different brands with some of the awardees in the running for the top service award. Compliments were also on the rise.

Social Media Marketing to drive online presence. Month of April, increase traffic on social media to website by about 15%. Increase in number of enquiries as well.
