I was one of the designers for Suunto app, using customer centric and data driven design methods. The app is used by 1 million outdoor enthusiasts globally. Key impact: - Renewing signup flow and increasing the success rate by 4 %. This had measurable financial impact. - Smoothly transitioning customers from the old Movescount service to the new Suunto app. - Designing key features, e.g. training calendar and summaries, with high customer satisfaction. Working:- KPI setting and data analysis to design for solutions with measurable impact- User research using holistic set of methods: contextual interviews, online interviews, user testing, surveys, Amplitude analytics, customer support reports, etc. - Facilitation of design sprints, collaborative workshops, retrospectives, planning sessions with developers and many other. - Identifying user needs and designing the user flow - Prototyping of new solutions and features - Visual design utilising the design system

Title: User Research in Commercialization - Why and HowI researched how to enhance the commercialisation phase of innovation through user research. The case company was Ahlström and three other industrial manufacturing companies were involved to support the research. The research was done as part of a research project called Requirements for Innovative Environments at Aalto University. The Master's thesis received an honourable mention in the Master's thesis competition of SIGCHI Finland.

Working as part of the design team, my tasks included - concept design: working on the business model and defining the user’s goals and scenarios- user interface design: using paper, Omnigraffle and Photoshop to make clickable prototypes in Flinto- usability testing: improving wireframes and finding bugsQvik is the leading creative mobile agency in the Nordics and has delivered over 130 mobile services with over 25 million end users.

Researched the design thinking literature to support a research project. Coordinated a Master's level course, and maintained the website and server.

Designed and created a website for the Mental Health Education project, and taught the customer to maintain the website. The Mental Health Education project develops material, tools and training for professionals working with children and adolescents to support their growing up process.

Responsible for tutoring student groups, and evaluating the projects. On the course students develop interactive programs with Processing language.
