Made together with Ana Pupo a Salsa dance annotator that takes as input video of a dancer. With pose recognition the data was converted to a numerical model of the dancer, which was used to train different machine learning models that give names of dance figures as output. (OpenPose, OpenCV, LSTM, GRU, XBboost, Tensorflow, Streamlit). Because no suitable dataset existed, we created a choreography and a crowd campaign that provided us with the data. I counseled people experiencing discrimination in their rights and ways to solve it. And I gave advice to public and private entities who wanted to improve their practices so that they will not inadvertently discriminate.I developed the measurement of discrimination. I built and maintained systems to collect, combine, store, report and analyze information concerning the complaints about discrimination we give opinions on. I worked with our own and and external statistical materials. I advised researchers on research methods and harmonization connected to ethnicity and racial discrimination. I was in charge of the Norwegian version of the Implicit Association Test and member of the government's Equality Data Forum.I was also responsible for our work on national minorities and the Sami, like monitoring the European Councils Framework Convention on Protection of National Minorities.

I built a system for registering information about discrimination cases at the ombuds office. I coordinated an EU project that improved the measurement of discrimination by connecting the social scientifical measurements to the legal demands in discrimination law.

I had a small consulting business for teaching statistics and helping people to design good research questions and projects. I give also workshops using exploring intercultural communication, managing others vs. being managed by others, and cultural issues.

It is a compulsory class in quantitative research methods students should take before they start with their masters thesis. It is a combination of statistics and lab work with SPSS. I gave the same class also in 1995.

We gave give young leaders the confidence to and the tools for dealing with cultural issues. Developed together with 70 facilitators from Europe a 10-day diversity-management program. Facilitated this program for the Norwegian Participants in Oslo and a mixed nationality group in Kiew.

doing research on migrant households and teaching quantitative research methods to students at the Department of Comparative Politics

County chapter of an environmental organization similar to Friends of the Earth.Consolidated the organization after a hard internal conflict. Head of board, leader for staff, financial responsibility, strategic planning, media relations, project management. We had 2500 paying members, 10 active local chapters and 4 working groups.

Norwegian Data Services (NSD) had made a great statistical software for teaching. I translated this software from Norwegian to Finnish for Brainware Oy (a Finnish Company), while having office at Norwegian Data Services. The work required knowledge of statistics, databases and participating in a team programming the software.
