I am a creative writer, book designer, and artist. As a current student at the University of Iowa, I've worked on the staff of several on campus literary magazines, including earthwords: the undergraduate review, snapshots magazine, Cave Writing Mag, Broken Clock, and Ink Lit.I've published prose and poetry in Wilder Things, snapshots magazine, Cave Writing Mag, and Horizon Magazine. I work part-time as a writing tutor at the Hanson Center for Communication at the University of Iowa.My current projects are querying Fox's Quest for Soup, a comfortable story about love and soup, and writing my middle-grade novel, Dogwood Middle School. Dogwood Middle School is a fantastical, midwest horror story, focusing on Elena as she moves to a strange new school in Iowa where kids start to go missing...I write children's literature from picture books to middle grade, adult fiction, horror, fantasy, and LGBTQ stories.
