My research lead to the innovative application of patented mid-air haptic icons, known as "Ultrahapticons."I conducted comprehensive, automotive-industry compliant user studies using a medium-fidelity driving simulator to evaluate these interfaces. This process involved rigorous statistical analysis of eye-tracking and driver behaviour data to refine and optimize the design, ensuring both safety and user engagement. The significant findings from my research were presented at leading conferences (AutoUI) and published in academic books, contributing to the broader field of HMI development.
