Profile bio

About Egbert Koopman

Profile:Team player with broad experience, mainly in the high-tech industry and with strong analytical skills. Takes responsibility for the performance of a team by setting up high quality standards (automotive). Main areas of experience are electrochemistry, screen printing, plasma etching, Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt) and Statistical Process Control.Ambition:Lead engineer for driving structural improvements (availability/yield/quality), for new product/process introductions or for solving complex problems, preferably in a high-tech industrial environment. More detailed description:What particularly appeals to me in my work is to translate customer requirements into concrete improvements to a product or process. In doing so I find it a challenge to implement structural solutions. I use preferably the lean six sigma methodology to ensure that the organization has benefits for the short, but certainly also for the long term. With my strong analytical skills, knowledge and other skills I am able to analyse the risk of processes and products thoroughly. From a risk analysis I can make a clear advice and create an improvement plan, then discuss it with the stakeholders and coordinate the implementation. I can take a leading role, in which I am willing to take some executive functions on me within the implementation team as well.I can operate independently, but also in a team I can deliver my contribution by performing my tasks. Motivating a team, in giving the good example, has turned out well for several times to achieve the desired quality improvements. In the field of product and/or process development and continuous improvement of existing products and/or processes I have gained a lot of experience. I am able to assess these areas with a helicopter-view but also with a high level of detail. I have several positive references available and have always completed my assignments demonstrably successful.

Listed skills include Semiconductors, Yield, Semiconductor Industry, Spc, and 32 others.

* Analyze production data for finding possible leads.* Set up database wherein also the results of experiments are incorporated.* Analyze with statistical tools the results of experiments and propose experimental set up.* Propose plan for the project team to find the root cause of oversized holes.* Several statistical tools applied on the current data and on modified data.* Introduction, besides the standard visual inspection by operators, of an automated camera measurement of the hole size distribution.* Measurement System Analysis performed for inspection tools, which led to insight in the performance with respect to the quality of the measurement.* Analysis performed for the Yield losses of the whole production line of nebulizers.* Proposal written for introduction of OEE measurement at the bottle-neck of the line on basis of the current available data.* Proposal written for further improvement of data collecting and monitoring.* Theoretical model further developed for the prediction of the end result of an electroforming process on different lacquer patterns. This resulted in a proposal for another steering of the electroforming process.* Several leads for further investigation found in the available data.* Weak performance of one process step found, although this was not a dominant factor for causing oversized holes, it was decided to release an improved process.* Found a dominant factor in a specific process step for causing oversized holes.* Gathered all results and learnings of the project team in a summary report.
