Through policy, advocacy, and on the ground programs Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) builds sustainable food and farming systems. The City of Fort Collins bike program (FCBikes) just wants to get everyone on a bike! By working with non-profit, government, local businesses and residents FCBikes encourages cycling through education, policy and infrastructure changes.Responsibilities & Achievements -Increased participation in Bike to Work Day by over 100% through new programming and events.-Took Bike to Work Day and turned it into Bike to Work Week to encourage residents to try cycling for more than a day through events and classes-Helped lead a bicycle camp for kids teaching children how to cycle in an urban environment. -Assisted City in starting a bicycle advocacy committee to increase public participation and involvement.
