Responsible for data processing for ads at Google that power thousands of use cases including reporting, billing, compliance, budgeting, bidding, analysis, and monitoring. Also leads logs processing project across the entire ads org to solve important problems such as machine efficiency or compliance.Landed large technical changes to build a fully replicated and streaming data processing system that reliably handles trillions of financial records a day with a ~15 minute end-to-end latency and 99.999% completeness SLO. Hosts ~10M lines of code with ~3k changes/year and also complies with various regulations.Experienced as a manager and director. Drives broad consensus across multiple orgs. Built durable orgs that span multiple sites.

Led a small team to build a data ingestion pipeline for several hospitals including the Mayo Clinic, John Hopkins Medical Center and New York Presbyterian hospital. Created a rule based recommendation system for the Mayo Clinic. Implemented parts of Bing Health Search and including an action based advertising platform. Received top 5% reviews from 2008-2012 and two gold stars.Built the customer submitted templates feature for Office.com. Implemented the front-end UI with XmlHttpRequeset which was ahead of its time. Also built a system to generate office document preview images in a sandbox environment and publish them to the website as well as the Office client. The sandboxing work was cool enough that Peter Engrav personally asked me about it over lunch at The Bento Box in Redmond.

With ample guidance and handholding, wrote a project proposal and implemented the Edge-and-Point algorithm for the Render Cache on a programmable GCU to achieve interactive raytracing latencies.Presented work at the Intel Student Search Competition and won first place.
