• Reconciling Assets & Liabilities accounts on a monthly basis & adjust immediately if necessary.• Ensure full review of A&L is being performed and approved by the DOF & GM on a monthly basis.• Keep Balance Sheet reconciliation up-to-date. Ensure that adjustments are made on a timely basis.• Ensure monthly closing is performed in a timely and accurate manner.• Provide assistance to Assistant Financial Controller in a timely completion of Internal Audits.• Knowledge of all Accounting Practices, Procedures and Polices.• Reconciling Bank Account.• Preparing of daily bank position report.• Auditing & following – up all bank deposits.• Auditing bank charge & commission.• Awareness of the day to day situation of Guest Ledger & City Ledger.• Reconciling the inter company account.• Calculate accruals and prepayments as needed for the hotel.• Perform analysis as required by DOF / Assistant Controller.• Count General Cashier's bank weekly and with General Cashier count Cashiers safe on a surprise basis and share any finding with the DOF / Assistant Controller.• Ensure that each function in the Accounting Department operates at peak efficiency.• Ensure adequate documentation is maintained in an easily retrievable manner to support all transactions.• Ensure all books and records are maintained in a concise, easily understood manner.• Develop and implement plan to cross train all clerks to perform any position in the office. • Preparing the monthly comments on the P&L.• Preparing the monthly payroll.

• Preparing gross revenue report.• Review room rate discrepancies, late check out, early check –in, house keeping discrepancies.• Review banquet checks to ensure ( In agreement with event order & Report discrepancies).• Review all adjustment transactions for proper authorization (Rebates including A/R rebates, Paid outs, Miscellaneous Charges, Prepare summary for review charge).• Verify all entertainment checks (Proper explanation, signature, support & Summarize for review).• Review discounts to ensure (Proper explanation, signature, support & Summarize for review).• Review Food & Beverage Revenue (Banquet & Outside catering classified in appropriate meal period).• Administrative call analysis & classification distributed (For HODs' review, record adjustments as per HODs' review & Follow-up on analysis not received).• Maintain guest checks control and report discrepancies.• Perform un-announced spot check.
