Manage all tasks for construction operation.Review Structural, plumbing & electrical plans & calculations for code compliance.Stamp plans for submittal.Manage professional staff (typically engineering staff) responsible for design and project construction.Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budgetUnderstand project documents ie: completeness or inadequacies. Understand timing needed to acquire shop drawings and or clarification to allow sufficient lead-time for planning and scheduling production with a minimum of mistakes or delays.Assure completeness and accuracy of shop drawingsAnticipate project needs with sufficient lead-time to avoid delay of productionReview status and modify schedules or plans as required and prepares project reports for management, owners, and subcontractors

Review plans submitted for permits, and issue permitsPerform construction inspectionSupervise field inspectors and write daily and weekly progress reportAdminister construction contracts & generate monthly pay estimates for contractorsFollow-up on directives to be continuously on the alert for situations that is not progressing productively and for opportunities to improve project performanceProvide positive safety leadership to the projectReview field operation and ensure that the project provides a safe workplaceKnowledge and understanding of local union or prevailing wage rulesResponsible for project closeout. Secure loose ends by finishing paperwork, obtaining retainages, supporting supervisor and expediting claimsDebriefing of project to review all positive and negative aspects after completionPerform additional assignments per management’s direction
