PowerSuite's dataset includes 80M+ regulatory filings, 1M+ legislative issues, and 200+ regulator and utility profiles and is enhanced by unique human and machine insights. I oversaw all aspects of the business (product, marketing, sales, customer success, partnerships and more) to lead PowerSuite's long term growth and customer impact.

Led the product development, product marketing, sales and strategic partnerships for PowerSuite. Grew the business to 100+ customers. Also responsible for overseeing all of AEE’s digital and print design work.

Created and led the SaaS (non-member) sales strategy from lead generation, product demo to close while overseeing product, marketing and engineering teams.Led creation of PowerSuite's bill forecasting machine learning model to predict the outcomes of state and federal legislation. Data grooming, feature analysis, ML model selection, parameter optimization and API deployment. Model accuracy over 87%.

Oversaw all market research, usability studies, product design, engineering and marketing of PowerSuite from initial idea, early beta to an MVP product.Managed AEE's digital rebranding, visitor UX and creation of aee.net and other AEE digital properties.

Started my own mobile software development and energy consulting business.- Co-recipient of Nat. Geographic Society Grant for study of cloud forests using mobile phone NFC technology, Sept. 2011

Lead iOS developer of “Treevia,” a trivia mobile application designed for new students and alumni at Stanford University and supported development of "CreditU" a location based mobile app deployed at several major universities.

While focused on the areas of renewable energy, energy efficiency and smart grid technology, I assisted with market assessments, business planning, public policy and due diligence. I provided services for clients ranging from Federal/State governments, fortune 500 businesses, utilities and investors. Selected engagements:- Residential/Community Energy Storage Demonstration: Developed the analytical framework to quantify the utility and societal benefits of PV-energy storage integration for SMUD and the Department of Energy (DOE). - Advanced Wayside Energy Storage Systems (WESS) for Rail Transit: Technical lead for quantifying the benefits of WESS for the Transportation Research Board using Denver RTD and Cleveland RTA as case studies. Oversaw multi variable technical and cost optimization modeling.

Selected Engagements:- Ontario Power Authority (OPA), Wind Turbine Systems: Provided technical expertise in support OPA’s efforts to bring wind component manufacturing and assembly to Ontario. - DOE, Walk-in Cooler/Freezer Test Procedure and Performance Standard Rulemaking: Responsible for establishing the first federal mandated walk-in energy efficiency performance standard. Defended DOE as lead presenter in all public meetings. See final rule in the Federal Register, 76 FR 21580, April 15, 2011.- NREL Solar Advisory Model (SAM), created new utility scale solar analytics module for estimating installation cost and performance of ground mount systems (fixed axis, 1-axis tracking and 2 axis tracking) using design for assembly (DFA) and motion study methodology.

Rotations in Gas Turbine Compressor Aerodynamics, Wind Blade Aerodynamics and Power Plant Electromechanical Controls

Design, test and installation of mechanical-hydraulic control and electrical-hydraulic control systems. Responsible for instrumentation packaging, duplex hydraulic power unit, triple module redundant overspeed protection for small to large steam turbines. Largest project included a geothermal plant upgrade (CFE Mexico) of two 110 MW units.

Full 3D and 2D Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation of novel and historical airfoil designs. Focus on mesh development, separation and turbulence modeling for large range of angles of attack utilizing Ansys CFX and xfoil. Model standardization, analysis, parallel computing and multi-terabyte data management. Reduced the simulation setup and run time by 30% across parallel computing clusters.

Quasi 2D and 3D computational fluid dynamics modeling of a variety of GE Gas turbine compressors. Sensitivity studies on impact of increased extraction for turbine cooling on operation line and stall margin. Support testing of new compressors.
