AIRMAP is a research group cooperative of NOAA and the University of New Hampshire. It's goal is to further the understanding of atmospheric chemistry in New England and determine its effects on the climate. At AIRMAP I was responsible for facilitating the continuous measurement of trace gases and aerosols at the research groups campus headquarters and at a variety of field test locations. I was also responsible for gathering and interpreting data both qualitatively and quantitatively. I became published in the journal Atmosphere, Chemistry, and Physics for a paper that introduced three years worth of VOC (volatile organic compound) measurements at a location in New Hampshire. At AIRMAP I thoroughly enjoyed working side by side with PHD students, Climatologists, Professors, and NOAA personnel.
