Regional Environmental Engineer supporting TWE America's wineries, bottling centers, and vineyards.Responsibilities include overseeing and ensuring environmental compliance, developing environmental management systems, delivering training, updating stakeholders on upcoming regulations, providing on-site support for facility waste water discharge requirements,developing storm water management and monitoring programs, public drinking water system oversight, hazardous waste management, and accidental release prevention (CalARP) for ammonia refrigeration systems.Project Manager for upwards of $1,000,000 of CAPEX projects with environmental compliance, energy efficiency, water conservation, and cost savings objectives. Project examples include rainwater harvesting and reuse, irrigation reservoir construction, well drilling and drinking water treatment system improvements, waste water pond construction and improvements, LED lighting and energy efficiency upgrades, etc.Support Use Permit application and approval process for winery and tasting room expansion objectives from a CEQA and environmental perspective. Includes drinking water and waste water system feasibility studies as well as conformance with local planning department sustainability requirements.Responsible for supporting and leading certain aspects of the TWE Global Sustainability Plan, including managing environmental data/metrics tracking for corporate social responsibility reporting, securing 3rd party verified sustainability certifications, driving employee engagement, developing waste management & diversion improvements, and implementing energy efficiency and water conservation projects.

AIRMAP is a research group cooperative of NOAA and the University of New Hampshire. It's goal is to further the understanding of atmospheric chemistry in New England and determine its effects on the climate. At AIRMAP I was responsible for facilitating the continuous measurement of trace gases and aerosols at the research groups campus headquarters and at a variety of field test locations. I was also responsible for gathering and interpreting data both qualitatively and quantitatively. I became published in the journal Atmosphere, Chemistry, and Physics for a paper that introduced three years worth of VOC (volatile organic compound) measurements at a location in New Hampshire. At AIRMAP I thoroughly enjoyed working side by side with PHD students, Climatologists, Professors, and NOAA personnel.
