As a Robotics Software Engineer at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) and Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence Lab, I am passionate about advancing the field of robotics and telexistence. I joined IIT in March 2022 as a research fellow, where I developed C++ drivers for both WEART and Manus haptic gloves, enabling intricate manipulation of the iCub/ergoCub humanoid robot's hand.In 2023, I completed my master's degree in Control Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome. My thesis focused on devising a novel algorithm for tracking hand motions using distance information, which was closely aligned with my research endeavors at IIT. As an active member of the Telexistence Research Team, I contribute to various ongoing projects, such as the ergoCub Avatar System and humanoid robot integration, leveraging my computer programming and robotics skills. I am also collaborating with WorkFar Robotics, to enable full teleoperation into their wheeled-based humanoid robot.I am always eager to explore new synergies and opportunities in robotics, research, and innovation.
