Central point of contact for the ASE department. Co-ordinating the overall distribution, operation and maintenance of Airfield support equipment. Carry out all authority level G tasks.Sign 2nd signature for supervision of work within trade boundary.Condition technical equipment as ‘serviceable/unserviceable’.Specify extent of independent inspections.

My main responsibilities include:The safety and integrity of the process plant and equipment.Operation of local plant equipment including running the plant efficiently and economically, plant monitoring and fault diagnosis, planned and unplanned start up and shut down.Responding to incidents, hazardous conditions or emergencies.Routine care of the operating equipment to maximise equipment reliability and minimise the need for plant maintenance.Equipment preparation and minor maintenance activities.Work within small shift team to ensure delivery of individual and team responsibilities and objectives.Provide input and support to gross margin improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

I am responsible for management of all BTEC Level 3 qualifications in Aeronautical Engineering. My primary role is to teach students aged 16+ in several areas of aircraft engineering including Engineering Science, Theory of Flight, Avionic and Mechanical Systems, and Maintenance and Workshop Practices. My role also includes employer liaison and business development.

Member of a specialist team responsible for the high profile Julius Project to upgrade RAF Chinook aircraft.

Undertook supervision of first line maintenance on Westland Lynx aircraft which further led to a teaching role for all levels of military students utilising Sea King aircraft as a generic platform. Finally taking a management role in an aircraft workshop environment in HMS Ark Royal to serve several aircraft and equipment types. This also held a teaching role to train all staff in fire fighting and damage control techniques.
