The mission of Boston Lesbigay Urban Foundation is the development of strong, sustainable, LGBTQIA+ community functions and relationships. We are committed to improving social and emotional outcomes for our black/brown/latinx LGBTQIA+ community by providing wellness support, coordinating services, and trauma informed care. Boston Lesbigay Urban Events mission is to produce an annual festival that uplifts the voices within the QTBIPOC community in the inner city of Boston and surrounding areas. We focus on strengthen cultural connections through diverse urban events while promoting unity, nonconformity, health and wellness resources (HIV & STI Prevention/Intervention, Covid 19 and Monkey Pox vaccination), and family activities for all to enjoy. We party with a purpose.Our intention in hosting events is to not only be a catalyst for change in the community but also an organization that brings individuals together and allows individuals to create long lasting healthy relationships as their true authentic selves.

• Coordinates intake process for new clients• Develops and monitors individual treatment plans for each client including required assessments and treatment reviews• Provides clinical input to team regarding client's treatment• Provides crisis intervention and conduct meetings with clients in crisis• Attends all treatment meetings and crisis meetings for clients• Conducts regular case and discharge conferences on all clients• Coordinates all psychiatric. Psychological, and therapy services for clients as needed• Provides vocational guidance and arrange home visits and family contacts for clients• Ensures files are up to date and progress reports are written and forwarded to appropriate collaterals as well as kept up to licensing/accreditation standard• Reviews and submits progress notes to referring agency monthly• Works with other community resources, services, courts, state agencies and schools, and act as liaison to state agencies licensing staff• Attends all weekly meetings, in-service trainings, and orientation programs• On-call to staff and provide emergency staffing when necessary
