Responsibilities include: Head book buyer and selector for exhibition catalogue approval program servicing up to 125+ academic, public, and art research libraries mainly in North America. Manage acquisitions staff; select, review, and rank all new titles for standing order plans; systematically assign titles to pre-determined ranked plans based on relative art historical importance and monetary plan quotas; negotiate purchase terms with domestic and foreign vendors; efficiently and economically arrange and manage all logistics and bulk stock orders; company representative at over twenty art librarian conferences/trade fairs and sole company representative at multiple Frankfurt Book Fairs annually meeting with dozens of international artbook publishers and sales representatives; assist with marketing, customer service, serial claims and order management; maintain up to date knowledge of contemporary art world and monitoring trends in publishing. Implementing DEI initiatives in acquisition and selection processes for approval plan program; staff management/team leader; and responsible for international bank wires.
