I am a nurse practitioner in endocrinology at Tidelands Health, where I specialize in diabetes diagnosis, treatment, and management. I have 20 years of experience in this field, and I am board certified in advanced diabetes management and a certified diabetes care and education specialist. My passion is to help people with diabetes improve their quality of life and health outcomes through evidence-based practice, patient education, and innovative technology. I have worked extensively with new and emerging diabetes devices, such as continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps, and artificial pancreas systems. I have also contributed to the advancement of diabetes knowledge and practice by publishing, presenting, and reviewing diabetes-related topics at various levels. Additionally, I have mentored and trained nurse practitioner students as an adjunct faculty and clinical instructor at Stony Brook University. I am honored to be a Fellow of the American Association of Diabetes Educators and to have received several awards for my clinical and educational excellence.
