Served as a leading expert in economic development, fostering relationships and coordinating activities with clients, partners, technical experts, industry organizations, and more than 350 global practice members to cultivate learning and knowledge sharing, advance thought leadership, and promote innovation in economic growth programming. Managed a team of four and led the development of the annual economic growth and trade practice strategy and budget, implementation of activities, and achievement of objectives; and oversaw the Private Sector Engagement Center. Contributed to business development and growth by leading priority proposal development and providing guidance on strategy, partnering, staffing, monitoring, and cost to proposal teams. Represented Chemonics in the media and industry events, and organized and facilitated global online events with USAID, and the Markets in Crises Community. Led implementation of the USAID Innovative Finance project, developing asynchronous and instructor led training programs and resources to build the knowledge and skills of USAID staff in pay-for-results contracting approaches that align payments with impact rather than inputs, in support the agency’s procurement reform efforts. Served as Chair of the Employee Outreach Committee, leading a team of 19 staff, educating peers about employee ownership, collaborating with executives on ownership initiatives, and making quarterly presentations to Chemonics’ board of directors.
