Eileen Gannon is the President and Co-Founder of Gannon’s Isle. Since 1982, she and her brother John Gannon have produced homemade ice cream, sorbets, sherbets, cakes and novelties for the Syracuse, New York area. As President, Ms. Gannon oversees the operations at all three Gannon’s Isle locations, manages over 60 employees, navigates expansion opportunities, and serves as the point of contact for community relations. Gannon’s Isle has won dozens of awards under her direction including the Syracuse New Times Best Ice Cream Shop every year since 2000, the Post Standard Best of CNY in 2011 for best place to get ice cream, the 2012 Family Times Besties Readers Pick for Best Ice Cream Place, and the U.S. Small Business Administration Small Business Excellence award in 2013. Ms. Gannon also serves as a small business food consultant in the Central New York and Pennsylvania regions. She has help develop both new and already established businesses across New York and Pennsylvania. Ms. Gannon looks forward to continuing her work as President in the family business, serving as an adviser to other small businesses, and giving back to the Syracuse community where she resides.
