I am an RN, BSN of 26 years and a Practitioner for Neurological Integration System (NIS).I left a long career in bedside nursing caring for patients in Labor/Delivery, Mother/Baby Care, and Newborn Nursery to become a Practitioner for NIS.After having Covid in 2020, My sister Michelle started having heart palpitations and noticed a rash developing on her legs that would not go away. She went to several doctors including naturopathic doctors and learned she had hemochromatosis, when your body can’t get rid of iron and stores it to the point it affects your heart and organs including the skin. She took recommended treatments and supplements and even resorted to giving blood. Yet, she was in continuous pain with itching bleeding legs without relief for 2 years!In 2021 she had a terrible case of the Delta strain of Covid. ALL of her symptoms were worse. It felt like her chest was getting stabbed with breathing. She would find she wasn’t breathing and had to tell herself to take a breath. When she realized she was trying to swallow and couldn’t, she knew something had to change.She was using all the therapies recommended by the doctors with NO CHANGE!Michelle reached out to an NIS Practitioner and started NIS Therapy right away. Within a month of weekly sessions, the pain and rash on Michelle’s legs was gone! She could swallow without choking and by 2 months her breathing and heart palpitations were improving.After seeing mu sister’s amazing results, and the recommendation from Michelle’s NIS Practitioner; I knew I needed to learn more about NIS.I started studying the brain and organ function to prepare herself for the Foundational learning for NIS. In May of 2022, I trained under Dr. Jim Bentz, the NIS trainer for North America. My passion for this work has grown exponentially as I worked hard studying and providing NIS Therapy to many patients and saw their amazing results!In November of 2022, I went to my first Masters Level Training for NIS, learning under Dr. Allan K. Phillips, D.O. and Dr. Bentz. I was astounded and reassured at the depth of research and neurological study that went into the development and advancement of NIS. This proved the scientific base that NIS uses to help the brain regain control of cellular function as it was intended to do.I have since attended Advanced Level Masters in 2023 and 2024, training under Dr. Phillips and has all the advanced research and protocols. The 2024 seminar was a culmination of 50 years of research and practice providing NIS Therapy by Dr. Phillips.
